Do you have outstanding photos from your experience abroad? Enter them in the 2012 International Photography Contest by Wednesday February 29th. All students, faculty, staff and alumni are eligible to participate.
Participants may submit up to twelve photos to OEAphotocontest@gmail.com. The photos must fall into the following categories:
1. PEOPLE: Children, adults, families, self portraits
2. NATURE: Plants, landscapes, waterscapes, wildlife
3. ARCHITECTURE: Buildings, cityscapes, landmarks
4. BOBCATS ABROAD: Students wearing OU attire or displaying Bobcat pride
5. SEND ME THERE!: A photo that will inspire others to travel; a shot of you or other students that makes a statement about your experience abroad. 6. MY VANTAGE POINT: Photos that display views uniquely accessible to students living abroad, social issues, cultural interactions, etc.
1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and honorable mentions will be selected from each category. First and second place each category will be professionally framed by Lamborn’s Studio & Custom Framing in Athens. Additionally, photos will be uploaded to Facebook and fans will select a “Fan’s Choice” award. Top submissions will also be on display during International Week.
